On Friday 9th November a group of History students represented the school at a community event marking the centenary of the First World War’s end. The students, Leonie (Y10), Airah (Y8), Ella and Gethin  (Y9), joined the Woodley community in a service honouring the men and women who served. Following the playing of the Last Post, the Mayor spoke of the importance of students being engaged with the deeds of those who came before them. Leonie and Ella were able to lay a wreath from Bulmershe students in both commemoration and gratitude for those who have given their lives for the freedom of others.
