Change of Student Arrival and Exit Route

On Monday 10th February the pedestrian path leading from the school to Woodlands Avenue, adjacent to the school drive, will be closed for essential widening works. This is a 2-week operation and will overlap the half term break. During week commencing 10thFebruary the safe passage route from the school will be changed. Students exiting school on foot will be asked to use the new leisure centre path, adjacent to the swimming pool, emerging on to Woodlands Avenue. Whilst this final phase work to our leisure centre is undertaken we would ask all parents and carers, who pick up after school, to make arrangements to meet their children at alternative meeting points outside of the school campus.

Students who use the following bus services will continue to be collected from the school reception bus park, on the school campus, from 3pm. Horseman, 13 and 81.

Students arriving at school in the morning will be diverted to the pathway on the Addington School side of the school driveway and will enter the school as normal via the pedestrian gate to the left of the reception block. The new leisure centre gate will not be in use in the mornings.

The school understands that this temporary request will be inconvenient to some parents and carers, but we hope you can support us in keeping our students safe during this final phase of the construction by limiting the traffic movement in front of the school.
