Monday 29th June 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope you enjoyed the weekend.  We are looking forward to another good week with year the 10’s and 12’s in school. They have all been excellent so far.

We have still had no formal confirmation from the DfE about opening in September but as a school we are busy making plans on the basis  that all students will return full time. As always, as soon as I have anything confirmed I will let you know.

Going forward for the remaining weeks:

For year 7, 8 and 9 - we are also looking at inviting in another set of students (roughly 50 – 70) from each year group in the remaining weeks. The purpose of these visits are for a wellbeing / academic progress check and a discussion about any anxieties regarding September. Your child’s Head of Year will  contact you directly if your child is involved in this.  We are also trying to organise meetings between the Heads of Year and parents and students in the remaining weeks. We are planning on using the Parent Evening booking app but we will send more information to you directly later in the week.

All years,  pre-recorded and live lessons - thank you for all  your messages of support regarding these. I will send out the additional subjects for July later on this week.
