Our aim is provide students with the a wide range of opportunities to experience how design affects our technological world, by developing an awareness of the role of design within society and the processes involved in developing products to meet their needs. During their lessons students will develop their skills in:

  • Problem solving
  • Decision making
  • Designing for the customer
  • Appreciating that ‘quality’ in everything is vital
  • Meeting deadlines
  • Developing communication skills
  • Team working
  • Use of tools and new technologies
