History at The Bulmershe School offers an exciting curriculum from Year 7 to Year 13. At Key Stage Three, students study a variety of World, British and Local History and are given opportunities to research particular areas of interest; for example, our Year 8 students independently produce a piece of work to argue the significance of an individual of their choice in the twentieth century.
At GCSE students follow the OCR Modern World Syllabus. This includes examined units on International Relations, Weimar and Nazi Germany.
At A Level students focus on the Tudors and South Africa in year 12 and German History as well as a coursework task on The Arab-Israeli Conflict in year 13.
