Internal Exclusion Room (IER) Manager

37 hours a week, term time only plus INSET

Hours of work: 8am – 4pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am – 3.30pm Friday.

Grade: 4   £18,870 - £20,541 (Actual Salary £15,655 - £17,042 depending on experience).

Term time only.

The Bulmershe School is seeking a Manager for their IER (Internal Exclusion Room). The successful candidate will share and communicate the values and ethos of the school, possess excellent communication, organisational skills and team work. They will be responsible for the welfare of students and ensure that they follow the school’s Behaviour and Reward Policy.

The successful candidate will work with in Internal Exclusion room, supporting students and ensuring they stay focused on their work during their time there. This job includes dealing with students who display challenging behaviour, communicating regularly with Heads of Year and Senior Leaders. You will keep thorough and up-to-date records of the behavioural journey of the students through the IER and be a good role model. You will be able to develop professional, firm, fair and caring relationships with students and be helpful and welcoming to parents and others, visiting or making contact with the school.

EXAMINATION INVIGILATORS

Hourly rate: £9.92

Contract type: Casual Basis

The Bulmershe School is looking for new members to join its experienced team of Examination Invigilators for internal and external examinations in March, May/June, November of this year, and January 2020.

Invigilators will be involved in the administration and supervision of examinations as directed by the Examinations Manager and in accordance with JCQ Regulations.

Invigilators will need to be available from 8.30am for morning examinations and 1.00pm for afternoon examinations. Hours required will vary depending on the length of examinations.

Invigilators will need excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work as part of a team.
