More able - Beliefs and values
At the Bulmershe school, challenge is at the heart of our teaching and learning. We challenge students to think independently. We challenge them to push the boundaries of their learning ‘comfort zones’ and most importantly, we challenge them to challenge themselves. At Bulmershe we believe that all children are entitled to an education that will enable them to develop to their full potential, be that intellectual, physical, creative, emotional, spiritual or social, and finding challenge in our learning environment is how we achieve that.
All students have individual needs, so we value personalised learning. The Bulmershe School is committed to providing a sufficiently challenging and stimulating curriculum for all its students. In addition we will provide opportunities to identify and in turn nurture those who are more able and their abilities. We understand the importance of harnessing potential throughout a child’s academic journey, and we aim to provide an inspiring environment within school, as well as opening up experiences and opportunities outside, and beyond it.
