Welcome to The Bulmershe School

The Headmistress

As Headteacher, I am very pleased and proud to welcome you to our Bulmershe School website.

Our vision is to be an ambitious and inspirational place of learning where every student is valued. We are proud of our high standards and constantly strive to improve our school so that every student achieves the success they deserve and leave us as well qualified individuals, ready for employment, training or the next stage of their education.

Our school has been described by Ofsted as one where students make 'rapid progress' which is 'based on outstanding teaching combined with a high level of care for the individual child'. However we are never complacent and, as a school, are constantly looking for ways to improve so that we can serve our families and the community the very best education has to offer.

We benefit greatly from the support of our local authority who have invested well in our buildings and resources over the last three years. Recent additions include our new inclusion block, sixth form independent study area and 400 seat auditorium which houses professional lighting and sound equipment.

Our website is a celebration of the wide range of our students' achievements and will give you an indication of the many opportunities available at The Bulmershe School. This is an exciting time for The Bulmershe School and we are always pleased to welcome visitors – if you were unable to make any of our scheduled open mornings, we will be delighted to show you round on a normal working day. Contact the school on 0118 9353353 and arrangements can be made for me or one of my senior staff to give you a tour and answer any questions you may have.
