Getting to and from School
WALKING AND CYCLING
There is one main entrance for students who walk or cycle to enter the School which is on Woodlands Avenue. Cyclists depart from school via an exclusive cycle exit path which joins Shelgate Walk. On foot, students leave via Woodlands Avenue gate.
Although every precaution is taken over the safety of bicycles (including CCTV), we are unable to accept responsibility for damage to them. The school recommends a D Lock for all bikes stored in the bike shed. The cycle shelter is locked from 8:25am to 3:00pm.
DRIVING
We encourage all students to try to take public transport, walk or cycle to school. Our onsite carpark is for staff only. We have no dedicated area near the school for dropping off or picking up students by car, as the area at the front of reception is reserved for buses and disabled visitors.
If you have to drive your child to/from school, please arrange to meet them in a safe place off site. Please be respectful of our neighbours and do not park on yellow lines or block driveways.
