Leadership and Challenge

In Year 9, to enrich students’ education, there is a leadership and challenge pathway where students are given the opportunity to gain life skills or qualifications.

Our Leadership and Challenge courses run in year 9 only, and while they are not part of GCSEs, they do offer students a taste of what choosing subjects entails and some can offer a qualification at the end of the year. All subjects are then timetabled for 1 period a week.

*incurs a parent contribution of £150 (support available for eligible students) 

Year 8 Students and their families will be invited to a Leadership & Challenge presentation Evening in May 2025 which will explain the process and subject choices.
