ClassCharts
Class Charts is an online system which teachers use to track achievement and behaviour throughout the school day.
Class Charts is used to share information with students and their families about:
- Achievement Points
- Behaviour Points
- Attendance
- Homework
All students should login to Class Charts regularly to view their achievement/ behaviour, attendance and homework. This can be done via the app on your mobile device or on any computer.
We relaunched our reward system so that we could include a new Rewards Shop. This shop is visible to students and they can use their accumulated points to spend on rewards of their choosing. The shop includes low point items such as Canteen Cookies (100 points), Multi-coloured pens and highlighters (150 points) to high end prizes such as Amazon Vouchers (1,000 points), Games Console vouchers (2,000 points) and even Cake with the Headteacher (750 points)! It's up to students if they want to spend their points immediately, or save them up for something more valuable.
We really hope ClassCharts will encourage all students to take more ownership of their learning habits and be even more engaged in promoting positive actions in school.
Behaviour Points and Detentions
As well as celebrating our students, ClassCharts will be used for recording behaviour points and detentions. Parents and students will be able to see when they have been given a detention and when they need to attend.
If you have any questions about ClassCharts please email them to: classcharts@bulmershe.wokingham.sch.uk
How to access ClassCharts
There are various ways that both parents and students can use class charts.
1. Download the parents app
ClassCharts Parents for Android
2. Download the students app
ClassCharts Student for Android
3. Login through www.classcharts.com using any browser (on a PC, Mac, phone or tablet)
All Students will receive their unique access code on an email sent to their School Email account. Please note the codes will be different for Parents and students.
If you ever need to request a new access code, please email reception@bulmershe.wokingham.sch.uk
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD AT THE SCHOOL
Unfortunately, for security reasons, Classcharts cannot include a student name in their unique code email. You will receive more than one email from Classcharts with different codes. Please pick a child to try each code against, if it doesn’t work, try a different child! We know this is not ideal.
Steps for adding additional child to your Parent Account:
- Create your parent account using one child’s details as per the above instructions
- Once your account is verified and you have logged in, click the orange circular profile button (on the app), and select add pupil / or click the “Add Pupil” on the website
- Put in your next child’s unique code and details when prompted.
Homework on ClassCharts
ClassCharts is your main tool for tracking and supporting your child with their homework. We believe this new feature will make it much easier for you to see what has been set and when it is due. It is also a great way to start a conversation with your child about their school work.
How to find homework on ClassCharts
Once you have logged into the app or website, look for the Homework tab. Here you will see a list of all the homework tasks that have been assigned to your child.
-
Sorting Homework: You can sort the list by the date the homework was set (Issue Date) or by when it is due (Due Date). You can also use the filters at the top to see tasks that are due this week, what has been completed, or what still needs to be done.
-
Viewing Details: Click on a homework task to see a full description. This is where you will find the teacher's instructions and any links to websites or resources your child needs to use.
-
To do Category - these are the set tasks that have not been ticked as completed by your child in their ClassCharts app
By checking ClassCharts regularly, you will have a clear overview of your child's workload and can help them stay on top of their tasks. This partnership between home and school is key to helping our students succeed.
If you are having any trouble getting into ClassCharts, please email our team at classcharts@bulmershe.wokingham.sch.uk. We are here to help.
