Join our Governing Body

The Bulmershe School is a thriving and diverse community, which prides itself in providing opportunities for all students to achieve their full potential. The Governing Body helps to manage the academic and strategic direction of the school. And currently our governing board has open spaces!

The Governing Board is a complex unit that have a wide variety of focuses, to list a few:

• Monitoring the academic performance of the school
• Planning future projects to improve all aspects of the school
• Making financial decisions and budget assessments

So, who do we want? We have no set requirements, but we would like someone who embodies the schools core values, is passionate about the direction of the school and is committed to the wellbeing of the community.

Whilst this is a voluntary position, we would still require a certain amount of your time and energy as being a governor has important demands. However, this is a unique opportunity to work with teachers and other parents in planning the future of the school.

If you are unsure of whether you would like to apply, we would urge you to consider how enriching the experience would be as a governor, where you’ll be able to affect the quality of education that your children receive.
