Music Trip to The Proms

17:00 – Depart Bulmershe School

18:30 – Arrive Royal Albert Hall

19:30 – Concert starts

21:30 – Concert ends

21:45 – Depart Royal Albert Hall

23:00 – Arrive Bulmershe School

As part of their music studies we will be going on a trip to the Royal Albert Hall to watch a live orchestra. Seeing an orchestra perform live will be an invaluable musical experience and the Royal Albert Hall is one of the most iconic music venues in the world.
The programme for the evening will be as follows and will be performed by the BBC National Orchestra of Wales:
Schoenberg, Pelleas and Melisande
Zemlinksy, The Mermaid

We will be travelling to the Royal Albert Hall by coach. Students will need to meet at the front of school at 4.30pm on Tuesday 22nd July. The coach must leave at 5pm at the latest if we are to make it to the venue in time. Currently, I estimate a return time of 11pm at the latest. I will be sure to keep you updated of our ETA during the evening.

Although the Royal Albert Hall has not specified a dress code for the event, students will be expected to wear concert appropriate attire (smart casual).
