Bulmershe Summer Showcase

Our Summer Showcase will run in a similar way to a fringe festival, where guests pay a small entry fee and then circulate the school to watch a variety of events from a programme of performances, demonstrations and presentations. This event will include Dance, Drama, Music, Media, Technology and the Creative Arts.  We are hoping that the night will culminate in some selected performances in the Auditorium so we would welcome group or solo songs or dances for the finale.

How can Students get involved?

Drama
Year 7, 8, 9: Create a short scene to perform or polish and perform a scene you have worked in drama this term: e.g. Macbeth – The Witches, Commedia Del Arte or Blood Brothers.
Year 10 – Perform component 1 devising piece or perform an extract from An Inspector Calls
Year 11 – Perform your component 2 scripted monologues
Year 12 and 13- Perform an original piece or your examined practical work

Music
All years can perform a solo or group piece of their choosing.

Dance
All students can perform a solo or group performance in any style of their choice.

Media
All year groups are welcome to showcase media work they have created.
Year 11, 12 and 13 can showcase their Magazine Covers and videos from their Media Coursework.

Art & Design
All year groups are welcome to showcase work they have created - talk to your teacher about what you'd like to display.
