Mountain Climbers reach the top!
BackAt the end of February, our Year 11 Team officially launched this year’s Bulmershe Ascent. Over the next few months, Year 11 students will be encouraged to attend regular revision sessions, complete extra work outside class and be in school 100% of the time to get the most out of the lessons they have left. In return they will be given tickets, which help them climb a target mountain.
Congratulations to Anton, Finlay, Charlie and Ryo who, on Friday 22nd March, became the first Year 11s to reach the top of their mountains! They were rewarded with free Prom tickets for their efforts by Mrs Woodfin, who was incredibly proud of how quickly they had reached the summit!
In previous years, we have found our Ascent programme really helps motivate students and supports them in the run up to their GCSE exams. Different stages of the mountain will mean different prizes – so make sure you keep your tickets safe! For those still needing to collect more tickets, Staff are offering after school revision sessions and you can see these, and the general GCSE Exam Timetables, on the Year 11 pages on this website.
The next few weeks are crucial to our Year 11 and everyone at The Bulmershe School are here to support in any way we can.
