Open Evening Success
BackDespite heavy rain, The Bulmershe School successfully hosted its annual Open Evening on 26th September, attracting prospective families eager to explore what our school has to offer. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by the lively sounds of our Samba band and guided by student ambassadors who lead tours and shared their personal experiences of our school.
The evening highlighted our strong community spirit, with students acting as tour guides and subject demonstrators. Their enthusiasm and dedication made a lasting impression, with many parents praising their confidence and commitment. Each department offered hands-on activities, giving visitors a sense of Bulmershe’s dynamic learning environment. From science experiments and making tote bags to sampling food from our canteen, families were engaged and encouraged to give everything a go.
The event also featured speeches from students Angus, Piper, Ruby, and James, who joined Headteacher Mrs. Woodfin on stage to address an audience of over 800 attendees. Their speeches reflected the school’s core values and the students’ genuine connection to their community.
This successful evening demonstrated The Bulmershe School’s dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment and showcased the talents and enthusiasm that make our school exceptional. We look forward to welcoming new families into our community in the future.
