A.Level results day

After such a challenging and unprecedented time, we are so proud and delighted with your results this summer. I would like to thank all the students, staff and parents for their hard work and support in gaining these results. The level of collaboration and determination shown over the past 5 months is a real reflection of our community. Well done all! 

We are proud of all of our students but these students did particularly well:

Alina – A in Sociology, B’s in Biology and Psychology. Alina has accepted an unconditional offer to read Social Care at the University of Winchester

Alice  - 3 A’s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Alice has accepted a conditional offer to read Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University

Nicole  – 2 A*’s in English Lang/Lit and Spanish, 2 B’s in Business Studies and Sociology. Nicole has accepted a conditional offer to read  Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Sheffield

Riwaz -  4 A*’s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Riwaz has accepted a conditional offer to read Physics at the University of Birmingham.

Thomas  – 2 A’s in Drama and Media and 1 B in Maths. Thomas has accepted a conditional offer to read Musical Theatre at the University of East London.

Amy – 1 A in Maths and 2 B’s in Biology and Geography. Amy has accepted an unconditional offer to read Urban Design, Planning and Development at Oxford Brookes University

Hannah – 2 A’s in Chemistry and Maths and 1 B in English Lang/lit. Hannah has secured an apprenticeship for next year. 

Finn   - 1 A* in English Lang/lit, 1 A in Drama and 1 B in History. Finn has accepted a conditional offer to read English and Creative Writing at the University of Plymouth.

Dorian – 1 A in Maths and 2 B’s in Further Maths and Spanish. Dorian has accepted a place at the University of Toulouse.

Yogi  -  1 A* in Maths, 1 A in Physics and 1 C in Further Maths. Yogi has accepted a conditional offer to read Engineering at UCL.

Robert  – 2 B’s in English Lang/Lit and Fine Art and 1 C in Media Studies. Robert has accepted a conditional offer to read Animation at the University for the Creative Arts.

Awais  -  3 B’s in Maths, Physics and Media Studies. Awais has accepted a conditional offer to read Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol.

Simira -  gained a Distinction * in Travel and Tourism and a Distinction in Business studies. Simira is going to read Criminology, Policing and Investigation at Birmingham City University

Balraj -  gained a Distinction in Travel and Tourism and Merits in ICT and Business studies. Balraj is going to read Computer Science at University of Hertfordshire

A number of Departments have had some fantastic results, especially with the top grade boundary of A*-A. These include: Fine Art, Photography, Chemistry, Drama, English Literature, Italian, Spanish, Maths and Further Maths, Media and Medical Science.  

We wish them luck with their next endeavours and thank them for their many contributions to school life here at Bulmershe.
